Network Solutions domain renewals $10/year

I've had the davidflanagan.com domain for some time now, and somehow I'm still registered with Network Solutions. The domain was about to expire, and I figured that it was time to transfer it, since nobody pays $35/year for a domain anymore!

I was dreading this, since I've heard horror stories about how hard it is to transfer a domain away from Network Solutions... Anyway, I called them up, to make sure they weren't going to block my transfer request, and they quickly olfered me a 1 year renewal for $10.

So anyway, if you have a domain with Network Solutions, don't pay them more than $10/year for renewals.

I had the same thing. I had my domains at register.com and they were also 35$ a year. I did manage to transfer them to namecheap.com in only a few hours, all automated. I really like namecheap, theyre cheap, fast and their web panel is great.
